Founded in 1983, The Powell Group specialized in office furniture solutions and furniture related project management services. The company thrived, creating many satisfied customers.

In 2000, Andrea and Bob Crawmer changed the name to The OFIS, and our focus became office furniture and interior solutions. Our goals were developed, our people are empowered to make decisions in accordance with our beliefs and with an emphasis on highest quality delivered consistently. Performance measurements are in place so we know how we are doing and where to improve.

As the business progressed, we moved into a new combined operations and administration center in January 2003 converging with our other companies, OFIS Communications, OFISNow and AgileOFIS. Communication improved, customer satisfaction increased, our overall performance was enhanced.
