Hurricane damages can be repaired using CFP contracts [Sept. 2008]

Hurricane damages from the recent hurricane wreaked havoc on buildings used by school districts, cities, counties and other governmental agencies. But Choice Facility Partners was created to assist in times of emergency like this, when facilities have been damaged or destroyed.

Governmental entities just need to sign an interlocal agreement to gain access to legally and competitively pre-bid contracts for Disaster Recovery, Roofing, Temporary and Permanent Modular Buildings and Job Order Contracting, to repair damage.

Governmental entities may check to see if they have signed an interlocal agreement or download an agreement at http://choicefacilitypartners.org/html/members.php.

To assist governmental entities in quicker repairs to facilities damaged during Hurricane Ike, Choice Facility Partners has revised its guidelines so that any of the Job Order Contractors can use their competitively pre-bid contract with Choice Facility Partners in any of the 88 counties that have requested disaster relief from hurricane damages.
